Avalon DI-preamplifiers have been in use around the world since 1985. The V5 includes the best of the Avalon U5 DI functions with a studio quality preamplifier and "a new sonic addition". Two alternate solid-state topologies are cascaded to provide a rich, low midrange harmonic content not offered in other Avalon preamplifiers. The Focal Alpha 80 Active 2-Way Near Field Professional Monitoring Speaker features a 6.5" (16.5cm) woofer with a polyglass cone and a 1" (25mm) aluminum inverted dome tweeter. It also features a large laminar port, a 20W amplifier for the tweeter, 70W amplifier for the woofer, and has a frequency response of 40 Hz to 22 kHz (+/- 3 dB). Aka Shep, is the Chief Executive Officer and head executive engineer of Obsidian Studios. In recent years he won the Best Studio award with HDE. In 2018 and 2019 he toured with PnB Rock and worked live sound on multiple tour dates across the country, specifically with Rolling Loud. In between flights he continued his work in the studio and had 13 artists signed out of his Philadelphia based studio "Section 808." Shep has produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered records for countless artists and prides himself on his ability to get tracks done correctly and fast. Its been only 2 short years since Shep started producing in Philadelphia and he has already amassed over 30 million combined streams.



He is the studio's junior executive sound engineer and has spent his entire life immersed in music of every genre. He started his career apprenticing for G the Shep & Tokxic in sound engineering/production at Section 808 Studios, and officially launching his music career in 2019. Kain is a skilled recording Engineer (live/vocal), producer, & lyrical writer (Hip Hop, EDM, R&B, Pop, Reggae, Reggae-ton, Country, Alternative, Rock/Metal, Jazz & LoFi). Also having skill in Performance DJ-ing, vlogging, networking, tour organizing, and is radio voice-approved for live-broadcasting.

He is the studio's senior executive sound engineer with years of experience under his belt.. Tokxic has worked with some of the hottest up and coming artists in Philly to date. With countless hours logged in the studio, Tokxic is one of the most dedicated producers on the east coast. "My goal is to bring out the best of every artist I work with. Worked on multiple international and radio tracks. YOUR VISION IS MY VISION."


Kultivate aka Victor Khattar is one of the studio’s senior producers and junior sound engineers coming all the way from Moscow, Russia. Since a young age, Kultivate has been involved in music and has made a name for himself in the music industry over the past few years. The EDM world is where his music mostly lives. His tracks have been signed to some of the biggest labels in EDM. For Example, Buygore, Subsidia and Welcome Records. Kultivate also has worked with top level artists including Borgore, Chayonash, T-Pain, Felmax, Pixel Terror etc. Kultivate is suited for all your production needs ranging from EDM and Hip Hop to Reggae-ton to Punk Rock and more.
